A gentle, caring woman who lost her husband and daughter to the illness has shared his thoughts about the disease.
Dr. Peter Jorgensen, who is 65, said the disease killed his family in April and May.
“I had four kids, and we had to go into a house where the neighbours were very sick, so I didn’t want to risk that,” he said.
In a video message posted on Facebook, Dr. Jorgenson described his family’s journey into the hospital after his death.
The video has been viewed more than 20,000 times.
“When I went in to get my daughter, my first thought was to get out of there and to be safe,” he told his family.
“But as I got into the emergency room, there were more and more people in the room and they started screaming. I didn
